Today was Worldwide Pinhole Day and this is my entry entitled ‘Plaza Espana’.
Around the world on April 29th participants take images using pinhole lenses/cameras and submit them to the gallery along with a short summary and optionally details of the settings/processing used.
My image was taken using the pinhole lens for my Canon cameras that I bought from a Kickstarter project that arrived in July 2016.
This year I was in Cadiz and I took my camera to the Plaza Espana. My chosen image was part of the Monument to the Constitution of 1812.
Plaza Espana
I was visiting Cadiz and there the Plaza Espana has a monument to the 1812 Spanish Constitution. I wanted to have both the monument and some of the trees surrounding the plaza in my image. It was a glorious afternoon and I enjoyed walking around finding my perfect spot
I use a pinhole lens that I bought from Kickstarter that fits my Canon EOS 5D3. The image was taken at ISO 50 with a 1 second exposure. In Lightroom Classic I used Auto Settings on the RAW image and slightly adjusted the pillar to be vertical(!) and then exported to be a 720 x 480 JPG.
