This was our second visit to this National Trust property. The trees had no leaves so it was a very different visit than before. We had lots of time and we explored all the walks.

Coming down from the hill walk did mean a lot steps!
The boat house
Inside the boat house we could read more about the history of the building and have views across the lake. We carried on walking on the other side of the estate until we reached the wet lands and turned back to walk around the other side of the lake,
Before we left we had lunch sitting outside the hut. The new restaurant and shop are being built behind and are promised to be opened in the late Summer of 2024.
