Thursday 8th October 2020 – Robin Hood’s Bay
This morning we drove South to Robin Hood’s Bay. This pretty village is covered in the photography guide on page 35.
The walk down from the car park was a steep narrow road.
The road down the became even narrower with some sharp blind bends.
At the end of the road into the village I walked down the ramp to have a look at the beach – rather wet and windswept.
The pub was closed and people were queuing for coffees at the shop.
We were harassed by this guy who was totally oblivious to social distancing or wearing masks.
The coffee shops were full as we made our way back up to the car park – definitely time to head back to Whitby. I went into an empty car park almost at the top[ of the hill to grab a shot looking down into parts of the bay.
