Over the last few months the number of Twitter accounts offering ‘Followers’ for sale has increased and increased.
Or, a simple Google search will throw up websites offering to sell you thousands of Followers.
Offers like this:
Its amazing services that I know, just $75 you will get 15000 followers , visit here …
So all of these fake accounts are out there and we are all properly following some of them.
To help us StatusPeople have made available a great tool that provides an insight into just how many fake and inactive accounts you are following.
Go here to try it out on your account :
The tool takes a sample of your Follower’s data and compares them against simple spam criteria. If you have less than 100,000 Followers the authors believe the tool will give an accurate score.
After you have run the tool on your own account you can enter other Twitter account names so you can see how well your colleagues are doing.
