Last Spring we skipped visiting Greys Court as the bluebells were overgrown with brambles. One of my colleagues at camera club assured me that the display this year at Greys Court was well worth the visit.
We arrived much later than our usual times for visits. The access road had cars parked and the car parks were full. Luckily we managed to slot into a space as someone left.
We went straight down to the Cowshed for lunch before visiting one of the buildings where there was an art exhibition. This was from a Henley-on-Thames art group. Nothing took our fancy so we headed out across the fields to the bluebell wood.
What a difference in the wood this year. The brambles had been cut back allowing the bluebells to push through to the sunshine.
Halfway down the wood we turned and went by the tall stumps to get a closer look up the wood.
On our right quite a few trees had been taken out and their trunks lay waiting to be taken away. but to our left the bluebells stretched right to the top reaches of the wood.
Once last panorama view of the bluebell wood.
