Views from the TĪNG Restaurant at the Shangri-La The Shard
We did take pictures of the views from the 35th floor before we ate, as we ate and after we had finished our meal.
Below us we could see all the railway lines leading into and out of London Bridge station. At first it was very busy with trains stopped waiting for platforms but once rush-hour was over the lines were almost clear.
There was a burst of sun upon the Thames and Tower Bridge.
After our main course I took a walk around the floor and from the windows in front of reception and looked West to see the sun beginning to set.
After the desserts arrived we could see the setting sun reflecting on a building in Canary Wharf.
I then left our table and joined other guests at the windows looking West.
While we waited for our lift down to the ground floor we looked down on St Pauls illuminated for the evening.
