The storm rattled the window in my room for most of the night. I was awake early and met my colleagues as the hotel opened its restaurant for breakfast at 8 am.
This was the reason for our trip to North Wales. We had all applied for the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) Credit award(CPAGB).
Here’s what happened to my attempt for the credit.
Evening in Llandundo
The storm had eased by the time we arrived back at our hotel. After I had once again squeezed the car into a space on the road outside I noticed these goats. They were at the top of the cul-de-sac nibbling the bushes in the small park there. Later when I went for a walk to clear my head I noticed even more on the hill behind the hotel. The receptionist told me that they were the Queen’s goats and protected by law. Occasionally a goat would be chosen to become a regimental mascot.
On my walk I walked up past the goats to the top of the hill and then down to the cliffs to get a view of the pier from above.
Johnny Dough’s Pizza
As our evening meal on Friday had been less than ideal and we took the recommendation to go to Johnny Dough’s pizza.
This was a great choice as the restaurant was very friendly and the pizzas were excellent.
