MS Lofoten
Our evening meal was served at 19:00 and was the Farewell Meal for the voyage. We were introduced to the ship’s officers, the chefs and the servers in the restaurant. The first course was Nordland shrimp, the main course was delicious duck breast followed by flan with brandy cream as desert. As we docked in Rorvik our server suggested that we board the MS Lofoten to see this older ship that has been brought back in to service.
As you can see from the these pictures the ship is much smaller than MS Finnmarken and doesn’t have the benefits of roll-on roll-off cargo handling. It was a little strange walking around the ship as its passengers were still eating their dinner. Thankfully no-one seemed to mind! Click on any picture to see more pictures of MS Lofoten.
And here’s MS Lofoten as she continued her voyage North.
After leaving Rorvik we started the open sea crossing of Folda.
