Our weekend visit to Warner’s Nidd Hall was booked so that we could see The Flyrights again.
Our weekend in Yorkshire at Nidd Hall was to be our last COVID-19 free time . Now looking back on the hundred or so of guests dancing closely together to the music makes me realise just how lucky we were that weekend.
We had seen The Flyrights on P&O Aurora’s Guernsey cruise and on Oceana’s cruise around Italy.
The Flyrights had their own band and performed two sets on the Saturday night. I had my EOS5D4 and started with nifty 50mm lens but soon switched to my (big) 24-105 f/4L lens and planned to shoot both RAW and JPG, with the JPG set to monochrome. During the two sets a lot of the audience were dancing and I had to be careful not to hit anyone with my camera.
Here are some of the images.
