After we left Kristiansund we started to cross Hustadvika.
This stretch of water is considered to be one of the most dangerous in Norwegian waters as it is shallow with lots of rocks on either side of the channel. This is a short video later in the afternoon.
Our last dinner on-board was served at 19:00 and started with Indeloy meat soup followed by Aquavit marinated pork (delicious!) and then traditional barley cream desert.
I had to dash to the aft part of the restaurant to catch this glimpse of MS Nordlys as she sailed North.
We had a little extra time in Molde and we left the ship for a stroll around parts of the town and along the quayside.
The streets were empty except for passengers off the ship. Almost every shop window was decorated in some way with the local football team’s colours. The bars and restaurants down by the quayside were busy and close by we came across this statue of a saxophonist.
We left Molde for our last night on-board and these were some of the pictures as we left.

If you are thinking of doing the round trip or like us half of the voyage then I recommend this book as it details where you are each day and what you can see from the deck.
