In the morning of the 6th day of our expedition voyage on MS Fram, we arrived at Neko Harbour on mainland Antarctica for our first landing.

In the afternoon of our second day out from Ushuaia in Drake Passage we reached Antarctica and saw our first icebergs, whales, penguins and seals.

This was our first sea day on MS Fram. We were now in Drake Passage and were experiencing the first of our rough weather sea days.

We flew overnight from Madrid to Buenos Aires on our way to Antarctica.

Our expedition voyage on Hurtigruten’s MS Fram would take us from Ushuaia to Antarctica around the Falklands and to South Georgia and onto Montevideo on Day 1 we had to fly from Gatwick to Madrid on Wednesday 22nd February.

After leaving Molde in the evening on Hurtigruten’s MV Finnmarken after midnight we called at Alesund, Torvik, Maloy, Floro na finally our last stop at Bergen
