Horizon, a male Black chested Chilean Eagle buzzard
Back on the paddock we watched Horizon soar high above us. He attracted lots of attention from the local rapters who pursued him. Luckily for them he didn’t fight back.
Lyra, a female Lanner Falcon
We stayed in the large field, Lyra performed for us, swooping down at amazing speeds on the lure.
We then were able to see her on the ground feeding.
Orion, a male verreaux’s eagle owl
Orian was the last bird of the day.
End of day
Once back in the Icarus’ building we had a final cup of tea and biscuits and reviewed the day.
After everyone had gone, Bob very kindly sat and coached me privately on the set up of my new EOS especially with the focusing options. His advice was as always excellent and well worth the time.
