Regent’s Canal
On the towpath we paused under the bridge to look at the canal covered in green slime , reflections under the bridge, used Live mode to freeze water in the lock before moving up to Gasholder Park.
Under the further bridge we practised the same depth of field exercise using the brick as our focal point.
Gasholder Park
Three of the four gas holders had been converted into apartments retaining the original outer structure and their close linkage. The fourth had the outer structure but was hollow inside and was no Gasholder Park.
The park had angled mirrors around the and over the path that surrounded the large grassed area.
As we walked around a model and a photographer came into the park. This was too good an opportunity to miss!
As we walked back from the towpath to the other side of the gas holders I could see three people talking. I took their image using the mirrors and then later using Snapseed edited the image.
Now walking towards the canal with the BT Tower in view we used another wall again for this shot.
More Macro shots
Using the daisies in the flower beds our last exercise was another round of macro.
And with the gas holders.
This chimney was in the nearby restaurant.
This was the end of taking images on the safari. Once back in Coal Drops Yard we sat down for a chat, a drink and jeanette demonstrated the use of Snapseed to edit our pictures on the phone.
