Evening on Explorer
Once back on board we paused again for all of us to have a beer before heading back to our cabins to get changed and have yet another rest before dinner. We had asked for an earlier dinner and we are pleased to be back on our table for eight again. We now have the rhythm of the dining room and booked our table for the next evening as we waited to be shown into the restaurant.
Just as the previous evening we had our drinks ordered and served before ordering our meal. Even better all the other rounds came as our glasses emptied. I had garlic mushrooms, French onion soup, probe vindaloo and ended with apple pie. Our server explained that the curry was not hot as we would have had it in the UK but it would have all the tasty spices for the flavour. It was an excellent choice.
As we planned to be awake early for the sailing to St Petersburg we left our friends and we retired straight away after dinner. Our cabin had a towel decoration.
