Time for a break from walking
Once back at the stalls selling food we stopped for a latte and a cake, taking advantage of the tables under the shade.
I chatted to an English couple on the next table who are coming to the end of a driving tour of Finland. They had been right up to the north before coming back down to Helsinki.
The food stalls were still busy.
Back to the market hall
The day was getting warmer and we walked back through the covered market for the shade that it offered.
We met up again with our friends who were now having their coffee break at one of the restaurants. We joined them and I went over to a nearby bar and picked up a local expensive beer.
After a useful pause to rest our feet we finished walking through the market and we waited for the next shuttle. It stopped at the next stop and the driver announced that anyone wanting to go onto the loop to the Rock Church should to get off and wait for the next bus as this one was now going to go straight back to the ship.
