For our final morning of walking the streets of Paris we met again at the side of the Pantheon.
As we set off walking this is the Pantheon from the side.
The street art that I passed is gathered here in this post.
Rue du Cardinale Lemoine
We briefly paused in the neighbourhood where Hemingway stayed in Paris.
Place de la Contrescape
It was time for a coffee and to attempt one of Valerie’s exercises. We went up to a cafe in the square and rather ungraciously we were told that we were not wanted! the cafe of the right with the blue paint.
Just around the corner we were welcomed outside at the Cafe des Arts. Rather than the square we now had Rue Lacepede.
Our task was to capture an image with our cup and have a an interesting out of focus background.
My favourite.
It may have been chilly outside but we did have fun!
I made a quick stop inside- very cosy and warm and smokey but friendly!
Rue Mouffetard
After our coffee break we joined the crowds and walked down Rue Moffetard.
We stopped at an interesting location to take some shots using reflections.
In one of the shop windows.
One of the passers by.
The shops on the street were very busy with long queues.
Around the church the street was very busy.
Preparing the specialities out in the open.
I spent the rest of the allotted time walking up and down the street looking in windows and watching passers-by. Some of the faces were vaguely familiar as I had seen these residents at the Saturday market the day before. This image was shot in the small square.
