On our first visit to Costa Rica at Puntarenas we walked around the town before or trip on a train nd a river full of crocodiles,
Our cruise through the Panama Canal started in Fort Lauderdale and would take us to Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and finally San Francisco and then onto Monterey.
Day 11 Puntarenas, Costa Rica
When we came to a group of bars and restaurants all under the same roof we stopped for a drink. It may have been early in the morning but the heat and humidity were my excuses and my beer came carefully decanted into a glass. After a quick negotiation I was able to borrow a full bottle for this image.
The cafe had free wi-fi which was too good an opportunity to miss and did do a quick email check. When it came to paying we did not have any colores (the local currency) and the Internet came in handy to help us to estimate our bill in US Dollars.
I was so busy paying the bill that I forgot to pick up my camera bag. Our waiter then chased me down the street with it and I still shudder at the thought of loosing all my camera gear.
This bar was not on TripAdvisor so my recommendation on here will have to do.

I spotted street art over the road and took this collection of images.
