16 Park Terrace, Whitby, North Yorkshire
16 Park Terrace was an excellent choice being close to the town centre and being one of the best equipped properties that we have ever rented.
Park Terrace is a relatively narrow road with cars parked closely together on its whole length. The off street parking was just wide enough for our two cars as long as one car was parked very closely to the other.
The back yard had a sun trap and sat outside a few times and had lunch. Over the high walls we could just see the nearby pub.
Out through the back gate was the local pub.
From the top floor Whitby Abbey was visible.
The kitchen had quirky lights as well as interesting ornaments.
The first floor bedroom had interesting light shades as did the hall. In the kitchen the servant bells remained and we loved the window from the sitting room into the kitchen and how the furniture reflected the boat shape.
Turning left from the driveway we could walk down into Whitby town centre. The streets were steep though before reaching the flat past the railway station.
