This is my THIRD Peak Design Kickstarter project and it promises to be just as useful as the other two camera bags. The carbon fibre tripod will replace my 20+ year old tripod.
The packaging
Peak Design sent the tripod from a UK address so I was spared all the hassle of customs duty etc. The revised delivery dates for European deliveries was 31st January and mine arrived this morning on the 31st!
It was a BIG box.
And it had lots of packaging…
Once through all the packaging here’s the tripod and the addons to my order.
An extra V3 base pate (for my big lens), a universal adapter so I can fit different tripod heads and the ultralight feet for close-up work.
The tripod itself is in neat carton and had the allen keys and the neat PD leaflet for ‘how to use’
