My travel tripod comes everywhere with me and on my recent trip to Wales I noticed that the lower loop was frayed.
This is one of the loops that is used to attach an anchor strap ready for a camera strap. As per my last experience with a warranty claim to Peak Design, after filling in the claim form, I soon received notification that a replacement was on the way.
Two days later I had my replacement bag.
On the new bag I have covered both loops with electrical insulating tape before attaching the anchor strap – this hack hopefully will protect them from fraying in the future.
