My Canon cameras each come with a mains powered charger for their batteries. Each battery type has their own unique charger so when taking more than one digital camera more than one charger is required plus a cable plus a UK plug adaptor.
The CamCaddy2 solves this problem by being adjustable for each battery type and drawing its power from a USB cable. The USB cable plugging into any of the USB plugs used for charging other devices or a laptop.
There are a couple of notes on its usage
1) The pins should be moved to be ‘hidden’ when not in use as they can bend quite easily
2) The pins do not always make contact when charging some batteries (especially the Canon LP-E6). I’ve found that by gently moving the sliders outwards the pins will then make electrical contact
