This visit into London was to have lunch at Marco Pierre White’s City Steakhouse thanks to Virgin Experiences.
Leake Street
We did have a little time to spare before lunch and went through Waterloo’s Quays to the Leake Street tunnel to see what had changed since my last visit.
There was just one artist starting his painting after preparing the wall.

To the City of London
Back to station we caught the Jubilee Line to Westminster and then the (irregular) Circle Line to Liverpool Street. The camera club has a theme of ‘Transport’ in an upcoming competition round and the Underground seemed a good place to start.
Outside Liverpool Street station as we made our our way to Bishops Gate we passed this art.
Dirty Dicks is a famous London City pub at the corner of Middlesex Street. It was time to stop for a rest and to wait for our booking time at MPW’s City Steakhouse.

After our cocktails we settled down to a very pleasant lunch.
West End and back to Waterloo
From Liverpool Street we went to Oxford Street via the (hot) Central Line. After visiting shops along Oxford Street we walked down New Bond Street then Bond Street and caught the Jubilee Line back to Waterloo.
Back on the London Underground at Green Park I tried again for my ‘Transport’ image for the camera club.
