Kokoon EEG headphones interested me as they are noise reduction headphones that sense your brain activity and adjust the volume of music they are playing to ease you into a gentle sleep. My Bose noise reduction headphones do the job BUT are extremely uncomfortable if I’m trying to sleep use them while sleeping on a plane. I wish I could have had them when I was flying every week.
This is my fifth Kickstarter project and my fourth that is UK based. Here is their video about the headphones:
This project will be funded on Friday 10th July 2015. By the time we joined in, the project had reached over $1 million in pledges against a target of $100k.
The headphones are planned to be linked to Apple’s health app on iPhones as well as having their own app that reports EEG activity as you wear them.
This is a full description of the headphones on Kickstarter.
