Before starting this workshop in Paris I had asked Instagram street art lovers where in Paris I should go for art. Almost universally I was told to go to the 13th Arrondissement. One of my contacts on Instagram, @d7606, even went so far as to direct message me a whole series of maps – for which I am still grateful.
This is one of the blogs that I discovered about street art in the 13th Arrondissement.
I was staying in the 5th Arrondissement for the workshop around there. This was my last full day in Paris. The good news was that according to my street maps the 13th was just a short walk away.
Early morning in the hotel
I had another early start in the restaurant for breakfast. The workmen outside were making a lot of noises as they add markings to the street.
While I waited to meet my colleague I explored the Place de Sorbonne and discovered a great bargain breakfast for future visits.
The 13th Arrondissement
We had about a 40 minute walk to leave the 5th and get to the 13th.
This post is from that morning and shows the art discovered grouped by artist. This other post covers all the other art.
