More pictures of my hotel room.
After breakfast I walked to the RER station along the Bd Saint Michel and stopped to pick up my lunch.

At least this station still had the easy to use old ticket machines..
Gare du Nord
Once at the Gare du Nord I made my way to the Eurostar terminal.
The queues at the ticket machines were longer and each machine had someone helping to dispense tickets.
As before there was no admission into Eurostar until after other trains had left. Security and immigration was easy. I managed to get into the carriage early and dump my case. I was joined on the table by three HR ladies who worked most of the way to the tunnel.
And then we were through and in England.
On the Underground from St Pancras this advert caught my eye at one of the stations.
