Back to the Christmas Market
After a long rest and checking emails, we went back to this market and bought some more mulled wine at the stall that gave us stamps on a loyalty card. This was again easily the busiest stall.
We walked back past our hotel and retraced our steps to Jakubska where we had eaten the evening before.
Bertoldi, Prague
On Jakubska close to Gamberro Russo was another Italian restaurant – Bertoldi.
This restaurant was full and again and we watched visitors being turned away. Again we were lucky and space was found for us near the bar. While we waited for our pizza and pasta, we enjoyed another bottle of Italian wine.
This was clearly another very popular restaurant in Prague and just as the evening before everyone in there was very friendly.
Old Market Square
As we were so close to Old Market Square we walked through Tyn Square.
Back to our hotel
This was one of the windows of a bar on Jakubska.
Tony’s Café and bar
Rather than stop at any of the busy bars we passed, we went into the bar of the hotel, Tony’s Café and bar. Behind our table were large glass cabinets full of delicious looking cakes and other delicacies.
Along with our bill came this postcard of the hotel.
