For the first round I decided to try something different (for me) and enter a mono image. I was away when the competition was judged so I would be spared any criticism of the resulting image.
The model had laid on the stage and had slowly been exhaling the smoke from her electronic cigarette just in front of me.

There were 19 images in this projected digital round in Division 1.
‘A relaxing smoke’ scored 8.5.
The original image
The lighting on stage at The Harlington cycled through different colours and this image was shot when the colours were subdued but the smoke picked up the green lights. I converted to B&W using Lightroom and then used the Nik tools to further adjust.
