RAF Hawk T2 ZK021 : 1234 pm
And ZK021 came back around the Loop.
RAF Texan T1 ZM327- 1353 am
Our next visitor was a second pass by Texan ZM327. This time the Texan was spotted before flying below us. This was shot with my lens set at 500mm – i.e. maximum.
The rest of out stay on CAD East
This was the nearest we had to plane around us.
Behind where we were sitting was brick structure. I went off to explore around it and on the way back went up to this odd looking ‘boulder’. It was artificial made out of pained fibre glass. From the signs on it it housed a transmitter for the local rescue services. They must have as much trouble with reception as we did.
We could see a private plane in the distance at around 1550 pm. We decided it was probably a good time to start thinking about leaving.
The next day we returned to our usual spot on The Bwlch.
