In the Red Sea again
At 6 pm the Captain announced that Oceana was now back in International waters and the casino and bars could now open.
This was another formal night and this evening we were at the Peninsular cocktail party. The Deputy Captain hosted the event. We enjoyed having a relaxing evening with a generous number of gins and white wine. We didn’t win any bottles of fizz this time.
Then we went for another attempt at having a photograph taken.
We were booked in the Beach House for our evening meal. I was lazy and stuck with steak on a hot rock (the small one this time) with tacos as a starter and cheesecake for desert.
We went to the ventriloquist show after our meal. The show is much the same as we’d seen before.
Back in a cabin we were reminded that clocks were going back again overnight

Weather Mostly Clear, DryContinuing with the new passage plan Oceana made her way towards Jeddah at full speed. Preparations were made for arrival with two Pilots boarding before making the final approach. The final berth was confirmed as the ship proceeded into the harbour.
To ensure the quickest arrival possible the ship berthed port side to the quay and the gangway landed while making fast with 6 lines at each end of the ship. The Pilots remained on board throughout the time alongside.
After the Guest had been safely disembarked to a waiting ambulance the gangway was recovered and shell doors closed. Once all checks were completed the lines were slipped and Oceana was back underway again making her way back out of port towards Port Suez and the Suez Canal.
