Kingstown, St Vincent
Rather than stay on board we walked back to the duty-free area to have a look at the shops there.
I carried on walking out of the dock gates and into the town itself.
There was a small park with tents with local produce on offer that I passed.
Then I came to the ferry port gates and a series of warehouses. I walked a few hundred yards further into the town before turning back and taking a shortcut through the supermarket car park.
Once back in the duty-free area we both sat under the roofed area as the rain came once again. The local police were having trouble evicting some of the local residents. The police had clearly decided that they should not be there. All the while the local band were bashing out rock music at the side of us. We did manage to have a drink of a local beer again and catch up on our emails…
. . . no sitting here
The sun was setting as we walked back to Azura down the quay.
We went up to Breakers Bar to watch the sail away party and have a chat with our Facebook friends.
On the way back to our cabin we stopped to look at Azura’s sea-screen and the missing pixels!
