Session 3 – on the bars in classic tutu

Then we had a backdrop.

Session 4 – on a chair in classic tutu

Rather than continue with the classic poses in front of the screen, I asked Kate to sit on a chair in front of the backdrop.

(UPDATE: my lesson for future shoots is to select a more appropriate chair- in this competition the black and white image did rather well, but the judge commented on the inappropriate chair!)

Session 5 – on the floor

For the last session, Kate sat on the floor.

After some dodging around and adjusting of the lights I was able to frame Kate without the skirting boards cutting across the background.
