If like me you travel with an iPhone or iPad (or sometimes both) then being able to charge them when there is no access to a power is important. I bought a power brick from the Apple store in Covent garden when I switched to only having Apple Lightning devices. Unfortunately after just over a year the on/off button failed and I had misplaced my receipt !
I have replaced it with a Poweradd model that has enough charge to top up an iPad Air and best of all it has TWO output sockets, one for rated at 1A and the other at 2.1A. It has 10000mAh capacity which is enough to charge my iPhone with plenty to spare or just my iPad. It is a chunky piece of kit but I just sling it into my bag and so far after 3 months of almost continuous use no problems.
There is just one criticism of the Poweradd and that is the lack of clear markings to distinguish between the two outputs. One has a dot and the other two dots but these are moulded in the same colour so definitely not easy to choose. Simple solution is to mark the 5.1A with a dab of nail polish!
