The Spur
Across the valley from us was the Spur. We had watched a small group leave their cars and track across the opposite hill to reach the Spur. Here they are coming back down.
We decided that next visit we would try up there. Images taken from there do tend to have more ‘fluff’ over the wings.
Time to go back down
The owner of the other car in the car park below was still on the Lower Ledge of the Bwlch as we passed by on our way down. The rest of the walk back down was uneventful apart from the odd spot of rain. This was looking up at the path on the lower slope when we stopped for a breather.
From the same spot looking down and …
… and across the valley.
We did our best to mark out in our minds the route up for the next time we visit.
Dinner at the Red Lion
The main bar had a glorious fire burning. We sat down with our ‘Photographing North Wales’ books to decide what to do on our last day.
For dinner I had the excellent chicken marsala and a house salad all washed down with Staropramen.
