We then retraced our steps back down to the town proper and called at one of the restaurants for a coffee.
Murals on walls
Then I walked back up towards the mansion on the back streets to have a look at the mural painted on one of the multi-storey car parks.
Hidden behind a truck in the bottom right hand corner was this depiction of children watching salmon. One of the salmon was representing by a the symbol for a salmon.
Down this street there was another mural one of a wall of a bar.
Outside one of the state buildings were these flowers.
At the waterfront
As I walked back along the waterfront where there was another mural opposite a small park.
This park had a couple of food stands selling Filipino style Street foods. Both of these were very busy from the crew off the ships.
Under the wooden structure everyone was using using the free Wi-Fi and I joined in. I connected to the fast service via the public library for a quick email check and some posts to Instagram.
