Back to Burrard
Once back on Water Street we walked to where the buses stopped and caught the next City Route bus so that we could complete that route too. The A/V system on the bus wasn’t working and instead the driver gave us a running commentary literally on every block we passed.
Once back on Burrard again we left the bus and went for a walk down Robson to do some window shopping.
Lunch at The Pacifico Pizzerria
Our lunch was at the Pacifico pizza restaurant. At noon we were on one of the few occupied tables but by quarter past the place was full! We were on the mezzanine and settling down to watch the second half of the France v Belgium World Cup semi-final on the big TV screen on the wall across from us.
We had their pizza special which was delicious and I had a pint of Alexander Keith’s IPA on draft.
From the restaurant it was then only a few blocks walk back our hotel along Burrard.
