Back to Sapphire Princess
The bus drop-off point was rather chaotic with what appeared to be several crew ships shuttles and no define queues. Parked cars only make things worse and when the Princess shuttle bus came it was not clear where our queue started or where it ended. The journey back to the terminal building was quick and easy with no traffic hold-ups.
Once again we were ushered around the terminal to the quayside to join the queue for boarding.
Afternoon in Copenhagen
After changing I went for a walk around the ship and the others went for a swim. From Sapphire Princess I could see the Alesund Bridge that links Copenhagen to Malmo in Sweden.
On the road I watched the cars and above the planes.
The Norwegian Breakaway reversed out of her berth before doing a graceful spin and leaving the port. The other cruise ship had already left.
I then broke the rules about eating too much between meals and had a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza from the servery at pool side. They were delicious though.
Evening in Copenhagen
As we were getting changed F363 (the Niels Juel) steam passed our window on her way into Copenhagen. I did manage a grab shot after running to the Promenade Deck.
Once at the restaurants, we were diverted to a different restaurant that was almost empty. Myles busied himself finishing off his drawings while we waited for our meal. Our waiter joined in and gave Myles cartoons to look at. Myles had to guess what they were representing. Definitely service beyond the normal!
I started with egg plant and cheese, followed by spaghetti meatballs, then the wonderful zabaglione ice cream.
