This is my ninth Kickstarter project and I choose to back it as I have been looking for a way of making time lapse videos and my earlier backed project, Pico, had so far failed to deliver either my money back or a product. The founders of this project had successfully delivered projects before so I am hopeful (again) of a good outcome.
Pulse will be used to control my camera from my iPhone. It plugs into the USB port on the camera and then uses Bluetooth to connect to an app on the smartphone. It can be used to shoot photos or to take time lapse photos – all controlled from the phone. After taking a photo remotely the camera can deliver a thumbnail of the image direct to the app.
This Kickstarter project was successfully funded on December 12th 2015 with a total pledge of $1,110,820 against a target of $50,000 with 12,626 backers. The initial funding target was reached within three hours of the project launching.
