This was my 4th Peak Design Kickstarter campaign. This time it did not run for very long. The campaign was for versions of their clutch that are designed for mirrorless cameras. The micro clutch is more than just a plate as it included tools as well as mounting points for straps. This was promised to give better grip, more comfort, and total access to controls.
The campaign finished on 9th June 2023 and 11,310 backers pledged $1,492,392 for the project.
Two Versions
One version for cameras with a defined hand grip, like the Canon EOS R5, and the other for cameras without, like Canon EOS M50. Both are promised to be compatible with the Peak Design travel tripods and straps. Easy access to batteries is using the attached tool.
