If like me you have an iPhone and Windows PCs then you may have noticed that sometimes the two don’t talk to each other.
I use my iPhone as my ‘go to’ camera when out and about and then I copy my images onto my desktop PC using File Explorer.
Or, at least that is the theory.
After updates to the phone (in this case to iOS11) when I connect the phone to the PC, then Explorer claims that there is no content in the phone’s Internal Storage.
The solution is to disconnect the iPhone take a picture and then re-connect. Most of the time this correct the problem and the folders in the Internal Storage on the phone appear. If it fails then disconnect and repeat.
At sometime in the future either iOS or Windows will get an update to restore the automatic connection. Until that happens just take an extra image and smile . . .
