After my social media presentation in Holborn I caught the Tube to Liverpool Street to go and check out the streetart around Brick Lane.
I left the station by the side entrance and stopped for a while to look at the statue celebrating the arrival of Jewish children from Germany before the War. No matter how many time I pass through the station I always go and stand and look. My thoughts are always on the parents who put their children on those trains knowing that they’d never see them again.
Back on the streets I had time to reminisce when I worked off Petticoat Lane and used to grab the odd beer at Dirty Dicks pub.
My plan was to pass Spitalfields Market down to Commercial Street and then look for the new mural of President Trump and Mrs May. I missed it but I did find this ‘Trump card’ though.
I did also find a piece from Saki & the Bitches. The one on Bacon Street was still there when I checked later in the day.

All change at the top of Pedley Street
The last time we visited Brick Land we watched Fanakapan adding elephants to the wall – well they have gone to be replaced by this mural
And down Pedley Street the wall around the green space had changed too.
