This week’s digital image competition was open for subjects and I decided to use images that I had taken the week before and had processed using Lightroom and Photoshop.

Liked the way the bridge framed the image, we’ve all been in London in the middle of the day when the light isn’t perfect, so like this picture you have to use what you can and the light isn’t brilliant. Shot with a wide angle lens.There is so much water, needs more light and image needs to be stronger.
Light on a staircase

Perhaps a church’s staircase, with light coming through the window.The left had side/corner is too dark
The scores
‘City View’ scored 7 and ‘Light On A Staircase’ scored 7.5. Definitely not my best week in the league competitions and perhaps the lesson here is to be more critical of my work and not to choose entries so soon after taking the images.
