This morning we decided on a quick visit to National Trusts’ Basildon Park. This would give us a good walk and hopefully see some bluebells just like one year ago. Once past the main house we followed the track and the the path around the boundary of the park. After climbing the steps we definitely needed the exercise.
Once up the final slope we were at the side of the roped off bluebell wood.
Looking down the bluebells were quite sparse again like earlier years.
My close ups and the dangling orange tags that had me dodging around to get a clear view across the bluebells.
Walk back to the house
White van man interrupted the view of the house from across the park.
And now without the log in the foreground and the van hidden by trees.
As we finished our walk the RAF Chinook we had heard above us did yet another pass and I managed this grab shot through the trees.
In the café in the house we had lunch sat outside.
