On my way to Brick Lane, I left Liverpool Street Station and paused by the statue of the Jewish children refugees that arrived before the Second World War.
With just over an hour to spend up and down Brick Lane, I walked from Liverpool Street Station past Old Spitalfields Market, down Fashion Land and then turned left on Brick Lane.
