This was the third time that I’d visited the Leake Street Arches in August. This visit was before my first workshop with Simon Ellingsworth around Soho later in the day.
Walking through The Sidings I could see that the new Wetherspoons was having tables and chairs added and decals applied to the windows (see later.)
After taking a picture at the entrance and seeing the panels open. I stop to look at the large queue from one of the middle arch entrances.
I walked through to the far end and walked slowly back to the queue.
By the time that I had walked back through the tunnel the queue had reached Leake Street itself!
The Sidings
And here is the Lion and Unicorn being prepared for its opening.
The meeting place for the workshop was a restaurant close to Piccadilly Circus.
